The collaboration between the Sustainable Finance Institute (SFI) at the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management for the Green Finance course, held on November 15-17 in Hanoi by the IFC Vietnam, was a targeted initiative aimed at educating Vietnamese bankers from commercial banks on the nuances of sustainable finance.
In this partnership, SFI provided its regional expertise in sustainable finance, while the Frankfurt School contributed its global financial knowledge. The resulting curriculum was tailored to the needs of banking professionals and was both practical and relevant. This specialized 3-day course aimed to equip bankers with a thorough understanding of green finance, emphasizing its crucial role in the current environmental and economic landscape.
