On June 3, 2024, at Hall A1.03, 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a ceremony to announce and present the appointment decisions for managerial positions for the 2020-2025 term. This event is part of the restructuring of functional management units and the consolidation of leadership personnel at UEH, carried out in accordance with the prescribed procedures.
During the ceremony, the appointment decisions, reviewed and approved by the Party Committee, were announced. The event saw the presence of prominent leaders such as Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong, Party Secretary, and Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Su Dinh Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and University President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Khac Quoc Bao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President; Dr. Dinh Cong Khai, Vice President; and Dr. Nguyen Thien Duy, President of the UEH Trade Union.
Notably, Dr. Dinh Cong Khai presented the appointment decision to Dr. Pham Thai Binh, who was appointed as Vice Dean of the Institute of Sustainable Finance, School of Economics, Law, and State Management at UEH, for the 2020-2025 term. He will also serve concurrently as Director of the Training Program at the Department of Public Finance.
The ceremony was attended by many leaders and staff from related units, reflecting UEH's commitment to enhancing management and governance quality towards sustainable development.
